| Application Procedure |
- Recruitment is held four times a year (April, June, September, and December).
- Information on available housing complexes and floor plans is provided together with the application form. A general brochure on Kyoto City municipal housing is available at Kyoto-shi Jutaku Kyokyu Kosha offices and Kyoto City ward/branch offices throughout the year.
- Application forms are available at Kyoto City ward offices and branch offices at the beginning of each recruitment period.
- Applicants are selected by public lottery. It generally takes approximately three months from application to move-in.

Application Notes
- Applicants must be able to communicate in Japanese in daily life (the application guidelines, application forms, and move-in orientation are provided only in Japanese).

Applicants must designate one emergency contact.
* The emergency contact must reside in Japan (preferably in Kyoto Prefecture) and be able to communicate in Japanese in daily life.
- Applicants must be 20 years of age or older.
- Applicants must have completed resident registration in Japan.
- Applicants must reside, study, or work in Kyoto City.
- Single applicants are not eligible. Applicants must currently live with, or intend to live with, family members.
