The House is located on the Uji Campus in Uji city, south of Kyoto city. The distance between the House and the Main Campus is approximately 15 km.

The building is 4-storied, of reinforced concrete (opened in February 1987), and consists of house offices, facilities for common use, and units for residents.

③ FURNISHINGS

All rooms are air-conditioned. All units have a hot-water tank and are furnished with an internal telephone, internet access(Wireless LAN), IH cooking range, refrigerator, microwave-oven, washing machine (except types D,G), bath, toilet, bed(s), bedding set and furniture.
For residents in single units, there are common laundry rooms.

3. Rent

Rent which includes water, internet access and bedding must be paid according to the following rates.
Admission fee will be charged ￥11,000 at the beginning of the tenancy together with the rent for the first month.

4. Telephones

Telephones are only for connecting to other units within the building and to emergency numbers (police: 0-110; fire/ambulance: 0-119). They are unable to receive external calls.
